Kindred Bounty Resort is an emerging nature-based hospitality experience created to bring people closer—to the outdoors, to themselves, and to one another.

Located near Minnesota’s North Shore, it brings together private lodging, a living landscape, and shared experiences.

KBR is designed around a balance.

Private stays provide comfort, quiet, and retreat. The larger resort site creates gentle opportunities to step outside of yourself: a walk, a meal, a project, a fire, or a conversation you did not plan.

Guests can take part as much as they like. Everything is an invitation.

The KBR experience begins with what is already here: distinctive buildings, mature trees, open ground, water, and the changing conditions of a northern landscape.

A stay shaped by the place

That might mean gathering something from the garden, helping prepare a meal, learning a practical skill, or simply leaving a place a little better than it was found.

Participation is never required. It is available for those who want a more active relationship with the land and the people around them.

The first stage centers on caring for the existing buildings, preparing the land, and establishing a thoughtful guest experience. New lodging and shared amenities can then be introduced in measured increments, informed by real use, guest response, and what the landscape can responsibly support.

The goal is not to build the most. It is to create the right conditions for the experience to thrive.
